How manufacturers use OakMega to manage customers on LINE: find customers
interested in a product line with digital catalogs, route trade show leads to
sales by region, use a QR code on the machine for warranty registration and
expiry reminders, hand repair requests to Service Center and AI triage, and
track lead sources with a dedicated link for each dealer. This page groups the
recipes that fit manufacturers by sales, after-sales service, and
  distribution.
---

This page helps sales managers, after-sales service managers, and marketers at manufacturers find where to start when managing industrial customers on LINE. The recipes are grouped by three kinds of work: sales, after-sales service, and distribution, and each group lists recipes you can follow step by step.

## Why customer relationships are hard for manufacturers

Machines and parts usually reach the end user through several layers of dealers and distributors, so the manufacturer often does not know who is actually using the equipment or on which production line. Sales leads are scattered across trade show business cards, spreadsheets, and reps' personal phones, and they are lost when a rep leaves. After-sales service still runs mostly on phone calls and faxes: customers reporting a fault cannot give the exact model or serial number, and the service desk has to go back and forth several times to confirm. With OakMega, customers add your LINE official account themselves and leave their product line, serial number, and region on a form or catalog page. The system tags them automatically based on that information and routes them to the right sales rep or service contact. From then on, the manufacturer can message "customers using a given product line" or "dealers in a given region" directly, without going through every layer of the channel.

## Sales: find interested customers and route them to sales

| Recipe | What it solves |
| --- | --- |
| [Send digital catalogs on LINE for manufacturers](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/manufacturing-product-dm.md) | Build one digital catalog page per product line. Customers who view it are tagged with that product line automatically, so sales only invites catalog viewers to trial runs and quotes |
| [Capture trade show leads for manufacturers](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/manufacturing-trade-show-leads.md) | Put one form QR code at the booth. Visitors scan it to leave their details, are routed to sales organizations by request and region, and receive a catalog or a factory demo invitation after the show |
| [Account handover for manufacturers](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/manufacturing-sales-account-history.md) | When a sales rep leaves or changes territory, the new rep reviews the customer's tags, Member History, form replies and the previous rep's handover notes in Service Center, then makes themselves the assigned agent |
| [Collect sign-ups with a form](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/form-leads-follow-up.md) | Registrations for technical seminars and product launches: tagged and confirmed automatically on submission, with reminders by session before the event |

## After-sales service: warranty registration and repair requests

| Recipe | What it solves |
| --- | --- |
| [Warranty registration for manufacturers](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/manufacturing-warranty-registration.md) | Put a QR code on the machine or in the user manual. Customers add you as a friend and register their serial number and model, get tagged with the product line automatically, and when the warranty is about to expire you pick out the customers to remind about maintenance or a warranty extension |
| [After-sales repair requests for manufacturers](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/manufacturing-repair-request.md) | A "Repair request" button stays on the Richmenu. Customers fill in a repair form and choose the machine model and problem, are tagged automatically and routed to the service team for that product line, and conversations close automatically once resolved |
| [One LINE Official Account, separate AI for after-sales and VIP](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/line-departments-different-ai.md) | Repair questions from regular customers go to an after-sales AI, while key accounts go to a different AI and a dedicated Service Center organization |
| [Your first week with Service Center](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/service-center-first-week.md) | Turning on Service Center for the first time: conversations are assigned to the right organization and agent by tag, closed automatically when resolved, and agents get notified |

## Distribution: dealers and distributors

| Recipe | What it solves |
| --- | --- |
| [Dealer management for manufacturers](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/manufacturing-dealer-network.md) | One dealer portal link: before approval it opens dealer registration, after approval it opens a portal only dealers can see. New products, pricing and training are sent by tier and region |
| [Compare how many new friends each channel brings](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/recipe/channel-friend-tracking.md) | Give each dealer, trade show, or ad its own dedicated link and compare which brings the most new friends. New friends are tagged with their source automatically, so you can later send segmented messages by dealer |

## What to prepare first

* A LINE official account connected to OakMega (see [Connect a LINE official account](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/guide/platforms/connect-line.md)).
* A plan for your tags: product line, region, and customer type (end user, dealer). Every recipe above uses tags, and consistent naming keeps your filtered lists clean later. See [Create and manage tags](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/guide/members/tag-management.md).
* Forms, approved pages, and Service Center are enabled depending on your plan. The "Features you'll use" table in each recipe lists the minimum plan.
