The navigation bar on the left of the new dashboard is grouped by platform and
feature. This article explains what each section contains and how to use
search to jump to a page.
---

By the end of this article you'll know what each icon in the new dashboard's left navigation bar stands for, which features live in each section, and how to use search to jump straight to the page you need.

## Before you start

The navigation bar only appears inside a **workspace**. If you haven't entered one yet, start with [Understand workspaces and accounts](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/guide/getting-started/workspace-and-account.md).

## What the navigation bar looks like

The column of icons along the far left of the new dashboard is the navigation bar. Hover over any icon and a menu slides out next to it, listing every page in that section. Click a page to go there.

The screenshot below shows what you see when hovering over the LINE icon. From top to bottom, the icon column shows the OakMega logo, LINE, Meta, Member & Tag, Service Center and Advanced Features. At the bottom are Back to Old Site, Settings and the current workspace's photo. The menu that has slid out is the **LINE** menu, with a **Search** box at the top.

While a menu is open, the rest of the page is dimmed. Move the cursor onto the dimmed area and the menu closes. The page you're currently on is shown as selected in the menu.

## What's in each section

The top half of the navigation bar is split by **communication platform** (LINE and Meta). Below the divider are features shared across platforms. The table below lists the menu items in each section:

| Navigation bar | Menu items |
|---|---|
| **LINE** | **Member Management**, **Group Conversation**, **Post Article**, **Group Post**, **Chatbot**, **Template Management**, **Richmenu** |
| **Meta** | Facebook: **Member Management**, **Comment Reply Bot**, **Chatbot**, **Menu**Instagram: **Member Management**, **Comment Reply Bot**, **Chatbot**WhatsApp: **Member Management**, **Chatbot** |
| **Member & Tag** | **OakMega Member Management**, **Tag Management**, **Blacklist** |
| **Service Center** | **Service Center**, **Service Center Data Center** |
| **Advanced Features** | Web-based Tool: **Approved Page**, **OakMega Form**, **Booking Center**, **Pass**Link Tool: **Deep Link**, **New/Existing Friend Link**, **Tag Routing Link**SMS: **Template Management** |

The three icons at the bottom of the navigation bar aren't tied to any platform:

| Icon | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Back to Old Site** | Opens the old dashboard in a new tab. Features that haven't moved to the new dashboard yet are found there. |
| **Settings** | Opens the **Settings** page: Personal Settings (**My Account**, **Notification Settings**), plus the Workspace Settings that only admins can see (**Web-based Tool Settings**, **Message Test Member Settings**, **Communication Platform Settings**, **Permission Management**). |
| Workspace photo | Opens the **Workspace & Account** menu, where you switch workspaces or log out. See [Understand workspaces and accounts](https://docs.oakmega.com/en/guide/getting-started/workspace-and-account.md). |

The OakMega logo at the very top takes you back to the **Workspace** list.

The animation below shows the cursor moving down over the LINE, Meta, Member & Tag, Service Center and Advanced Features icons in turn, with the menu switching to each section's pages. Notice that the Meta menu is further split into Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp groups.

## Use search to find a page

If you're not sure which section a feature lives in, searching is faster than opening each section:

1. Hover over any icon in the navigation bar to open a menu.
2. In the **Search** box at the top of the menu, type part of the feature name, for example "Link".
3. The menu title changes to **Search Results**, listing every page whose name contains that text, grouped under the section it belongs to.
4. Click the page you want. To clear the keyword, click the ✕ on the right of the search box.

The animation below shows typing "Link" into the search box. The menu switches to **Search Results** and lists **Deep Link**, **New/Existing Friend Link** and **Tag Routing Link** under Link Tool.

## How it works

* **Menus only list pages you have permission for.** Workspace admins can set each member's permissions per feature. Pages you don't have access to don't appear in the menu, and if you have no access to any page in a section, that section's icon disappears from the navigation bar entirely. That's why two people in the same workspace can see different navigation bars.
* **Search only finds pages you have permission for**, and it only matches page names. It doesn't search the content of pages, such as tag names or member names. Search isn't case-sensitive.
* **Pages with the same name are told apart by their group.** Both LINE and Meta have **Member Management** and **Chatbot**, and there's also a **Template Management** under SMS in Advanced Features. In search results these pages are listed under their own platform or group heading, so check which one you're clicking.
* **The navigation bar is organized by platform, but this help center is organized by task.** For example, LINE and Facebook chatbots are separate items in the navigation bar, but both are in the "Chatbot" category of this help center. The **Location** shown under each article's title tells you where it lives in the navigation bar.

## FAQ

### A section or feature is missing from the navigation bar

This is usually a permissions issue: you don't have access to those pages in this workspace. Ask the workspace admin to grant access under **Settings › Permission Management**, then refresh the page.

### The Settings page only shows My Account and Notification Settings

**Workspace Settings** (Web-based Tool Settings, Message Test Member Settings, Communication Platform Settings, Permission Management) is only visible to workspace admins. Other members only see their own **Personal Settings**.

### The feature I need is in the old dashboard

The new dashboard doesn't have every feature yet. If you can't find a feature in the navigation bar or through search, click **Back to Old Site** at the bottom of the navigation bar to use it in a new tab.
